What is a political moderate?

• political moderation

I'd like to define what i mean when i say 'political moderate'. The first thing I would say is that unlike many moderates I don't see political moderation as the position between liberal and conservative or Democrat vs Republican only because I don't believe those positions are 'real'. In fact I believe they are a false dichotomy created by the deconstruction of a cultural process which is better defined as a group dynamic which encompasses cultural 'norms' and traditions in this case that of the younger generations 'growing' into that groups norms and traditions guided by what are called 'elders' who are conscious of their groups ways as well as how they had to 'fit in'. I know that sounds constricting and on some levels it should be but as far as creating all the division and acrimony we have see instead, that is in my opinion more the result of the dichotomies which have replaced them. So I see political moderation as both an acknowledgment of traditions and the social processes those traditions define or protect including their evolution within that culture or society. This is in line with my personal philosophy which raises process(es) over any type of deconstructed 'parts' or elements which when separated from the process become monetized products and create a base materialism which cannot perceive that which it can't quantify in some way in that commercial sense.
